Maysville is proud to host a stop on the Kentucky Craft Tour Bourbon Trail at the Old Pogue Distillery. It is one of five stops for the Northern Region of the Trail. You can find more information about all four regions at the Bourbon Trail Official website

The other distilleries in this tour can mostly be found around Cincinnati. If you pick up a Bourbon Trail Passport book you can get an official stamp at each distillery.

Old Pogue Distillery
It’s not a bar but the site of a museum and distillery. It’s said that it is the oldest distillery in Kentucky according to the Kentucky Gateway Museum.
Location: 716 W 2nd St, Maysville, KY 41056-9777
Visitors age 21 and older can enjoy a tasting of both Old Pogue Master’s Select Bourbon and Old Maysville Club, a rye malted whiskey. Tastings are $5 each; limit two per person.
